Dreaming Tree 2: Release from the Inner Perception (RIP)

This will be my reinterpretation of the painting "Dreaming Tree." In REM, I aim to convey the tree fragmented, symbolizing the inner perceptions we hold of ourselves. This release from self-perception affects not only ourselves but also those around us. Created with a sand-wood mix, the floating triangles carry away even the mountains. Small fragments of mirrors within the painting reflect the viewer, appearing to also break apart. Inspired by several Dave Matthews Band songs such as "Space Between," "Snow Outside," and "Lying in the Hands of God."
